The History of Matt Bingo
Matt Bingo wasn’t the first bingo game created by the Borg-Kastri Family. That honor goes to CJ Bingo.
It all started at a family dinner when our cousin/former coworker Little James suggested making a bingo card for our coworker CJ (aka Crazy Jeff). The idea was simple: fill a board with the things he regularly says and does and mark them off in real time as they happen. We all laughed, but my brother actually ran with the idea. He put together a full list and created the first version, known as CJ Bingo.
From there, the tradition grew. We noticed how predictable our cousin/boss Rob could be, so Rob Bingo came next.
Then one day, as I was driving home from work, someone cut me off and I completely lost it. Mid-scream, I realized I was just as predictable as everyone else we had been making cards for. So I had a bingo card commissioned for myself.
That’s how Matt Bingo came to be. What began as a joke about our coworker turned into a running family tradition that eventually circled back to me.

What started as a single bingo card for CJ eventually turned into something much bigger. After CJ Bingo came Rob Bingo, and eventually Matt Bingo. Each new version added more ideas, more inside jokes, and more reasons to keep playing. What started as a one-time joke has grown into a collection of bingo games that we continue to add to and play together.
